Thesis abstract

My PhD research focuses on intelligent state perception and health management for industrial systems. I investigate how data-driven models can reliably identify system states, assess degradation, and predict future health under uncertain and imperfect monitoring conditions. By integrating multi-sensor learning, uncertainty quantification, degradation and reliability modelling, I aim to support accurate diagnosis, prognosis, and informed maintenance decisions.

Personal interest in my research theme

I am interested in this topic because reliable health management is essential for the safe and efficient operation of complex industrial systems. I am particularly motivated by the gap between models developed under ideal laboratory conditions and the uncertainty of real monitoring data. I want to combine artificial intelligence with reliability engineering to develop methods that are both technically effective and trustworthy in practice.
